Christmas Multiplication Worksheets

Christmas Math, Multiplication Worksheets

Included in this NO PREP packet are the following:

Multiplication array - Help students make connections between the multiplication facts and the concept of multiplication.

Multiplication fact family - A fact family is a group of math facts using the same numbers.

In the case of multiplication/division, you use three numbers and get four facts.

Use these Christmas fact families to learn and reinforce:

- Commutative property of multiplication:  2x3=6 and 3x2=6, if we multiply two numbers in any order, we get the same answer.

 - Kids will also recognize that multiplication is commutative but that division is not.

- That multiplication and division are related 2x3=6 and 6:2=3,

Multiplication number bonds  - Number bonds are used to reflect the ‘part-part-whole’ relationship
of numbers. They let children see the inverse relationship between multiplication and division.

Mixed multiplication facts

Multiplication

Dab & dot - Multiply, dab or color the circles with the correct product.

Skip counting -  Count by 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, 10s and color the boxes.
